SACAG Mission

The San Antonio Coalition Against Genocide (SACAG) is committed to educating and encouraging people in San Antonio to advocate for and offer humanitarian aid to victims of genocide and mass atrocities.

SACAG Vision

Our hope is that people everywhere will pressure their governments to take action to end genocide and mass atrocities.

SACAG welcomes people of all nationalities and religious beliefs to join us in raising awareness of crimes committed against a particular race or group of people, such as in Darfur. It is also our desire that future generations will learn about past and present-day acts of genocide, so that we as a human race can unite to help prevent and end genocide.

Meetings

Meetings are scheduled as needed to help coordinate upcoming events. See "Upcoming Events" (above) for the next meeting date.

Who We Are

SACAG includes representatives from the Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of San Antonio, Interreligious Council of San Antonio, University Presbyterian Church, Holocaust Memorial of San Antonio, and other individual members.

Although the United States has been in the forefront of countries providing humanitarian aid and working actively for a cessation of violence, SACAG believes immediate action is needed to forestall a human catastrophe of even greater dimensions.
